Logo Schneider The requirements in industrial image processing impose great demands of the optics, not only to the optical performance of the lenses used, but also to their mechanical design. High vibration stability is one of the requests which is not fulfilled very often by conventional C-Mount lenses available on the market because of their light construction. In addition, the lenses need to be small in size and should have a locking mechanism for both iris and focus.
Optique Schneider IR C-Mount Lenses IR 400-1000nm
The 2/3" C-Mount lenses are designed for a spectral range of 400-1000 nm and can be used in the visible and near infrared range, practically without focus difference. The lenses are available with manual, motorized or video signal controlled iris, which makes them suitable for video surveillance as well as for technical applications.
Optique Schneider Série Compact IR C-Mount Lenses Compact Series IR 400-1000nm
The 2/3" C-Mount lenses are optically and mechanically designed for the special needs of industrial imaging. The lenses are corrected for a spectral range of 400-1000 nm and can be used over the complete spectral sensitivity range of common CCD sensors without noticable focus difference.
Optique Schneider StandardC-Mount Lenses 1" and 2/3" Standard
C-mount lenses of the standard series can be used for sensor sizes up to 2/3", some of them even up to 1" format. Two of the lenses have a very high relative aperture of 0.95 which results in excellent image quality even under low illumination conditions. Besides the fixed focal length lenses, two zoom lenses are available – one of them also in motorized version. The lenses are corrected for a spectral range of 400-1000 nm and can be used over the complete spectral sensitivity range of common CCD sensors without noticable focus difference

C-Mount Lenses 1/3" 3-CCD
The two lenses of the 3-CCD series are designed for 3-CCD color cameras with a maximum sensor size of 1/3". The special lens design considers the color beam splitter and the small depth of insertion of such cameras.

C-Mount Lenses IR 400-1000nm offer:

- Spectral sensitivity optimized for CCD cameras
- Usability in both visible and infrared range(400-1000nm), practically without focus difference
- Higher sensitivity obtained because of greater spectral bandwidth (especially with artificial
  light approx. 1.5f/stops)
- Super broadband coating and thereby reduced stray light and increased transmission
- Reduced color aberrations due to use of ultra-low dispersion glass
- Minimal geometric distortion
- Improved illumination distribution
- Increased modulation

C-Mount Lenses Compact Series IR 400-1000nm

The Compact Series is optically corrected for the spectral range of 400 - 1000 nm. By using special glasses with anomalous partial dispersion, the image position for any wave length over the whole spectrum is essentially located on one plane. This optical correction in the near IR region is quite advantageous especially for application in image processing, where generally artificial light is used; this allows the IR cut-off filter to be removed from the camera which leads to a considerable increase of the energy reaching the sensor.

C-Mount Lenses 1/3" 3-CCD

These lenses have been specifically designed for use in three chip color c-mount cameras. This relatively new type of camera employs a prism that places added physical and optical constraints on the lens. The following lenses not only meet the strict criteria required for this format, but produce images of unparalleled quality as well. These lenses offer:
- High-quality glass for maximum resolution.
- Designed to cover 1/3" sensors.
- Reduced color aberrations due to use of ultra-low dispersion glass.
- Designed for use specifically with three Chip CCD Cameras.
